Pet euthanasia at home is a peaceful alternative.
Because each patient is different, I administer calming medication to relax an anxious or painful pet before we commence. I can also prescribe oral medication to calm your pet before the appointment.​​
How do you know your pet is ready?
​I always recommend that a few welfare minimums should be met:​
-
freedom from uncontrollable pain
-
eating and drinking at least once per day
-
ability to get off the bed and walk around
-
not soiling the bed
-
breathing easily
​Other reasons for euthanasia are pet's antisocial or dangerous behaviour and difficult family circumstances.
